WELCOME

Columbus Youth Camp is nestled amongst  the Indiana hardwood forest just a short drive from Columbus, Indiana.

Today, the Columbus Youth Camp boasts 137 acres of rolling landscape only 15 of which are developed.  Seven miles of trails link eleven cabins, two challenge courses, the lake, and outdoor theater, shelter house, science lab, and Reeves Center Conference Facility.

Youth Camp provides camping opportunities for Foundation For Youth members, a broad range of challenge education activities, and environmental education programs for school groups.  Further, the facilities themselves are available to a wide range of groups who utilize the camp for both business and recreational needs.

COMMUNITY PROFILE

FRIENDS OF CAMP 2008

The Friends of Camp Day, April 26th, 2008, was a huge success.  Over 75 visitors came to enjoy the celebration and camaraderie. In addition to the fellowship and story-telling, we collected pictures and artifacts from our more than 70 years of Summer Camp.

The Friends of Camp are made up of past Campers, Counselors, and Camp Directors from Columbus Youth Camp’s rich history.  They have helped shape the more than 70 years that CYC has been a place of Laughter and Learning.  Columbus Youth Camp, and the Friends of Camp continue to capture the stories, traditions, and artifacts of days gone by. We want to hear from the people who have shaped, and been shaped by one of our richest community assets. Columbus Youth Camp.

The Columbus Youth Camp would like to thank all of the people who have built our rich heritage over the years.
